. Favorite Winter/Fall Shoes 2016 .

We ALL have shoes that we absolutely LOVE and we completely wear out, but hey at least we get our moneys worth! Here are a couple shoes I wish I had two pairs of so I know they’ll never “leave me” – some I have had for a little and some I recently purchase.

Let’s start with the most expensive and work our way down…

Tory Burch Reva Flat! Can we please just admire this shoe, not for it comfortably because trust me they’re not comfy but for their looks because lawdyyy. You can dress them up and dress them down! Plus I have always dreamed of these flats I just couldn’t fathom paying close to $300 for a pair of shoes that a) weren’t comfy and b) were a pair of shoes. BUT I got lucky and found this amazing website! Plus my shoes were brand new in the box, wrapping, receipt from the original purchase. Y’all have got to try Tradesy not only have I gotten these shoes, I’ve also bought a Kate Spade wallet and purse that I will share with y’all another day. I would suggest going with your least size (for example I am sometimes a 7 sometimes a 7.5 I went with a 7). I paid exactly $148.27, before you go judging I love these shoes and it was part of my Christmas plus I saved $101.73!!!

Next up Hunter boots….these are a little tricky due to your body type/shape. My first pair of Hunters were just the classic tall in a color black, but those were SO uncomfortable due to me having larger calves. Then I tried the short in the color red LOVE THEM! But I was still wanting a tall pair that would suit me and my luck happened when I was walking through a HUGE Belk in one of then many HUGE malls in Atlanta and found the Hunter Women’s Original Back Adjustable. Me being me I waited to purchase them on spot and I am glad I did! Belk online was having a big sale and I saved $70 (Hunter.com also runs great sales though the year and Dillards.com) I tagged Belk though because they’re still having a great sale! “You’re welcome” — oh and I went with an 8 these do not stretch so be sure to know your size!

Everybody, and I mean everyyyyybodyyyyy needs a great pair of booties these may not be for you but I will give you a couple pointers on what to look for! Personally I like a chunky heel or a wedge because my arch in my foot is higher that is one of the main reasons I picked these booties. You can never go wrong with a tan, so keep that in mind, plus if a bootie has a little bit of sass find a pair that are different from most. These have two slits on the side thats why I think they’re just adorable! I went with a 7.5 in these Steve Madden booties! PS: GREATEST PART IS THEY’RE PERMANENTLY MARKED DOWN TO $69.99

Over the knee boots are one of the hottest things this season, especially when they come in suede. These boots are the bomb.com PLUS they’re affordable! Did I mention comfy too? I went with my normal 7.5 – they fit perfect.

Last but not least a pair of Nikes that I have seriously been living in the last couple of weeks, they’re great priced and fit perfect I went with my 7.5 AND you won’t go wrong with black. Nike is my fav btw.

[[Traveling Routine]]

I am enjoying a little two night get away with some family and I thought with the holidays coming up what better to write about other than my traveling routine!

Guys……..let’s just talk about how awesome this Dove dry spray deodorant smells! I have used the cucumber forever and then the fresh scent but I decided to try the “beauty finish” and I am obsessed. Have you ever found a deodorant that you love so you just want to smell your arm pits all day? Yeah I didn’t think so. BUT go try this now! Plus if you are like me and have had to use like clinical or mens deodorant you’ll be surprised with how great this stuff works.

Next thing that I am obsessed with and cannot live without is DRY SHAMPOO and I am crazy now that I have changed my hair color and it isn’t so blonde I have to ALWAYS have two dry shampoos with me. The first I have been religious with for like three years and it is literally one of the only ones I have actually liked, another Dove product! They have only had one type out in pink that was just a classic dry shampoo but recently added two different types so I decided to first try out the green Detox & Purify. So far so good! It smells great and leaves my hair feeling clean which is why I fell in love with the Dove brand in general, a lot of other brands leave my hair feeling dirty. Second dry shampoo that I now keep with me all the time – if you have darker hair I suggest this to you – the DETOX Brunettes dry shampoo from Drybar works perfect! A couple things though when you’re using it keep in mind its a dry shampoo for darker hair and it will come out dark so you want to avoid white clothing/your skin/clothing in general. Other than that I love it! I have tried Drybars other dry shampoos out and wasn’t that impressed I sadly confess.

*side note: reason you ALWAYS take dry shampoo with you no matter if you’re going for a week or a day, dry shampoo is a life saver and a hair saver so you’re not having to wash your hair as much and you don’t look like a greasy mop head. I am going to be gone for two nights and don’t have plans to wash my hair – hints the dry shampoo.

Of course I have my Sephora rose make up wipes and my Neutrogena hydro boost water gel, I CANNOT LIVE WITHOUT THEM! Plus my little Philosophy Purity face wash. Typically I use Fresh face wash in the morning and Philosophy but since we are only coming for two nights I didn’t want to pack too much. I will be posting a nightly routine soon to better explain these products.

I brought my Fresh Rose Face Mask because I love to mask and I don’t think there is anything more relaxing than 1) masking 2) the Fresh Rose Mask plus when you’re on a vacation why not mask! Basically what this mask does for me is freshens and brightens my face and I will typically only use it once every week or once every other week.

For the products I have talked about, find them in the links below!

Girl. Gift. Guide.

T W E L V E – D A Y S!

Twelve days until Christmas, can y’all believe it?! This year has literally been one of the best years of my life and I can’t believe its already here and gone. Here are a few gift ideas for this Christmas season that are sure to make any lovely lady a happy lady! Plus all of these are pretty basic and easy to buy at just about any mall with a Macy store!

If you’re in the $100-$200 range you can never go wrong with a pair of Uggs! I have worn them for years and yes there are other brands that are way cheaper B U T my Uggs have held up for years and I have totally worn my moneys worth. For those of us who will wear them out and about the Original Classic Short boot are the bomb.com and honestly if you’ve not been told that your special someone wants the tall ones I would recommend the short ones. The reason being is because no matter your body style they’re sure to fit plus you can wear them with literally everything! The age range can go anywhere from 13-70. If you’re not sure about a color go with the classic Chestnut color, for more color options click the link at the bottom. These are $130!

For the women who may not wear the boots out of the house I would suggest going with the Ansley Wool Slipper, these are just $100 and come in a ton of colors. I am obsessed with the Light Grey!

For those of you who are in the $70-$50 range an idea may be a ring from Pandora. They have a ton of options to choose from that would fit great in this price range plus if you go to a store they will wrap it up and make it super cute for you! My personal favorite in this price range is the White Pearl.

If she is not into rings you could go with a perfume! I went to Ulta last week because I was out of perfume and I actually ran up on a great deal, spend $40 or more on perfume get a   F R E E robe! So you would be getting her T W O gifts for the price of O N E, I personally love Juicy Couture Viva la Juicy for the winter months because its super warm and cozy but not vanilla.

If you’re in the $50-under price range go with pajamas! You literally can’t go wrong with a good set and the great thing is right now they’re all on S A L E. If you’re not sure the size 1) ask her bff 2) ask her mom 3) check her other pjs when she’s not looking. My favorite are always from Target or Aerie and right now both are on sale! I just snagged this blue pair of sleeping pants plus the tank sleeper to match for 40% off this past Wednesday (now the sleep pants are all $15) which meant I could get the robe from Target that I wanted because it was 25% off (now are O N L Y $21 kill me )!

If none of these suit then G O O D luck! But I will tell you don’t be afraid to get things that are on sale, because not only does that mean your gal gets more things but it means you can sleep better at night because you didn’t pay full price!

\\ Cleaning time //

Okay y’all, I’M BACK! I’ll be posting about what has been going on with me sometimes his week but as for now let’s talk about washing brushes, it is a lot shorter of a story LOL…

If you’re anything like me then you may not have always washed your brushes because I will be honest, I have worn make up since middle school B U T only within the last few years have I became religious about washing my brushes (or washing them at all….) I am a firm believer that 90% of my acne over the years came from not cleaning my brushes.

I am super super S U P E R crazy about washing my brushes every Sunday! Why Sunday? Because it makes for a great week of using them! I have always used Dawn dishwashing soap/Bath and Body soap and I have tried Sephora brand brush cleaning.

So I joined the Beauty Blender crowd like 7 months ago and I have been totally obsessed with it, I could talk about it but I will save that for another day (if you’ve not already took the plunge to buy one, D O I T! I have tried knock offs and I wish I would’ve gotten my Beauty Blender a long time ago). A little while after buying my Beauty Blender I was shopping at Macy’s and saw this “Beauty Cleanser” and I have been O B S E S S E D!!!

If you’d like to snag yours click the link below I linked the DermStore because it not only comes with the cleanser but it comes with two Beauty Blenders, it is a little on the pricier side for a brush cleanser but no worries it will last you and is totally worth it. P L U S if you save your brushes life then you will be saving on having to purchase them as quickly. I think what I like best about this is 1) the smell isn’t bad what so ever 2) it is so simply to use! squeeze the top onto the brush/sponge, rinse and circulate, then you’re done 3) it makes the brushes and my sponge S O soft y’all!

If you’ve tried it or have any questions on it let me know I would love to hear what you think about it! B T W don’t forget to keep those brushes cleaned!
